Why Eyos Storage needs access to your files
The application requests Google Drive read and write access so the owner can manage existing files and upload new ones from the private server.
Browse and organize
File names, sizes, folder structure, and modification times are used to display directories and identify files. Permission to rename, move, or delete files enables the changes the owner requests.
Read, upload, and archive
File contents are transferred between Google Drive and the server to read media and save project archives. A local cache supports playback and uploads.
Keep the connection working
Google authorization tokens are saved in access-restricted files on the server so the connection can continue working until access expires or is revoked.
The server is configured to show a dedicated VPS folder. This setting limits the mounted view; the Google permission itself allows broader access to Drive. Files added through Google Drive can then be managed through the server connection.
